Abstract

En el tercer capítulo, el lector conocerá el proceso de distribución y producción del dinero en efectivo. Los autores explican el proceso que lleva a cabo el Banco de la República para asegurar la disponibilidad de dinero en efectivo en la economía, pasando por consideraciones legales, operativas y técnicas. Así se hace posible la producción y distribución del efectivo en el territorio nacional, a la vez que se logra el manejo del mercado monetario requerido para el control de la inflación. Estos procedimientos requieren de altos estándares industriales y técnicos e involucran prácticamente a todas las áreas del Banco en su diseño y ejecución.
