¿Cómo afecta la inflación a la población más pobre?

Abstract

En este capitulo los autores analizan como inflación es particularmente perjudicial para los hogares más pobres, exacerbando las condiciones de pobreza incluso en periodos de crecimiento económico. Por ello, los bancos centrales deben priorizar la estabilidad de precios, mientras que las políticas públicas deben enfocarse en proteger a los más vulnerables, especialmente frente a choques en alimentos y servicios básicos.
