Abstract

Diese Ausgabe der Publikation "Österreichische Entwicklungspolitik" widmet sich dem Schwerpunktthema "Financing for Development". Die Broschüre beschäftigt sich vor dem Hintergrund der Konferenz zu Entwicklungsfinanzierung der Vereinten Nationen (28.11. bis 2.12. in Doha/Katar) mit verschiedenen Aspekten der internationalen Entwicklungsfinanzierung, insbesondere der Zukunft der öffentlichen Entwicklungsfinanzierung und der Regulierung der Finanzmärkte. Der zweite Teil der Publikation enthält eine Übersicht über die gesamten Finanzflüsse Österreichs an Entwicklungsländer in den Jahren 2003 bis 2007. Neben der Öffentlichen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit werden auch die privaten Finanzierungen und Investitionen sowie die privaten Zuschüsse von NGOs dargestellt und analysiert.
