Abstract

Der Titel dieser Studie lautet: "Investmentstrategien im Rahmen von Übernahmen börsennotierter Gesellschaften - Merger Arbitrage und Maschinelles Lernen". Der Fokus wird somit auf einen anderen Bereich des umfangreichen Themengebietes Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) gelegt, als bei einem Großteil der zugehörigen Literatur. Diese beschäftigt sich überwiegend mit der Transaktion an sich und deren Hauptakteuren. Bei Übernahmen unter kapitalmarktorientierten Gesellschaften ist es allerdings ebenso interessant zu betrachten, welche Chancen für dritte Kapitalmarktteilnehmer im Verlauf der Transaktionen entstehen. So wenden sich die Ausführungen von der M&A Literatur ab und hin zur Investmentliteratur.
