Die Verantwortung der Unternehmung. Eine wirtschaftsethische Rekonstruktion

Abstract

Wohin führen die immer komplexer und unüberschaubarer werdenden ökonomischen Vernetzungen? Entwickelt sich eine Art "ethischer Unzurechnungsfähigkeit", die Diffusion von Verantwortung? Oder gibt es ein anderes Konzept: die moralische Verantwortlichkeit eines Unternehmens? Die erhellende Studie fragt nach Begriff und Konzept der Unternehmensverantwortung (eher kritisch zu "Corporate Social Responsibility"), ihren möglichen und unmöglichen Konnotationen sowie nach ihrer Verwendung und Auslegung - nicht zuletzt mit Blick auf ein mögliches Unternehmensstrafrecht. Die Arbeit wurde vom Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft, Köln mit dem Max-Weber-Preis für Wirtschaftsethik 2004 ausgezeichnet.
