Abstract

Die Reduktion der Abhängigkeit Österreichs bei Erdgas genießt hohe energiepolitische Priorität. Der Ausstieg aus langfristigen Gaslieferverträgen bedarf einer evidenzbasierten empirischen Abschätzung der volkswirtschaftlichen Kosten. Die Quantifizierung der makroökonomischen Effekte erfordert die Modellierung von alternativen Szenarien auf der Grundlage eines europäischen Gasmarktmodells. Als Vorleistung für diese weiterführende Arbeit werden im Rahmen der vorliegenden Studie modellierbare Alternativszenarien sowohl für einen erwarteten als auch für einen unerwarteten Lieferstopp von russischem Gas entwickelt.
