Regionale Risiken und Chancen der Dekarbonisierung durch verschiedene Transitionsszenarien in Österreich

Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie schätzt die potenzielle regionale Betroffenheit der Dekarbonisierung hinsichtlich Beschäftigung (und Wertschöpfung) auf Ebene der NACE-Rev.-2-Zweisteller-Branchen in den österreichischen Bezirken ab. Ausgangspunkt ist dabei das Energie- und Treibhausgasszenario "Transition" auf nationaler Ebene des Umweltbundesamtes sowie verschiedene potenzielle Szenarien, die im Rahmen der Transition zu Klimaneutralität auftreten können. Der Schwerpunkt der Analysen liegt auf drei (potenziellen) Szenarien für die Beschäftigungsentwicklung sowie den damit verbundenen Berufssparten als zentrale Arbeitsmarktvariablen. Diese Szenarien sind 1. die vier emissionsintensivsten Branchen, 2. nachhaltiger motorisierter Individualverkehr sowie 3. nachhaltiger Wohnbau.
