Der volkswirtschaftliche Beitrag des Thermentourismus in Österreich für die VAMED Vitality World

Abstract

Die Studie widmet sich der wirtschaftlichen Bedeutung der sechs Thermen der VAMED Vitality World. Die analysierten Betriebe erwirtschafteten im Jahr 2023 zusammen einen nominellen Erlös von rund 192 Mio. € und stellten im Jahresdurchschnitt rund 1.670 Arbeitsplätze zur Verfügung, das entspricht etwa 1.475 Vollzeitäquivalenten. Laut WIFO-Modellschätzung generierten die Thermenbetriebe der VAMED Vitality World 2023 direkte, indirekte und induzierte Wertschöpfungseffekte in Österreich von 326,2 Mio. € und ein Beschäftigungsausmaß von rund 4.585 Erwerbstätigen (auf Basis von Beschäftigungsverhältnissen), das entspricht etwa 3.840 Vollzeitäquivalenten.
