Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie befasst sich mit der Leistung Österreichs im Bereich von Schlüsseltechnologien. Näher analysiert werden die fortschrittlichen Technologien für die Industrie (ATI, Advanced Technologies for Industry), dazu zählen fortschrittliche Werkstoff-, Produktions-, Digitaltechnologien sowie industrielle Biotechnologie, ergänzt durch Umwelttechnologien. Auf Basis von Patent-, Handels- und Unternehmensdaten und Interviews mit Schlüsseltechnologieplattformen wird ein Profil der österreichischen Stärken und Schwächen in diesen Technologien gezeichnet. Die Erkenntnisse dienen als Evidenzbasis für Handlungsoptionen zur Förderung von Schlüsseltechnologien in Österreich.
