Abstract

Aktuelle demografische Veränderungen stellen eine Herausforderung für die Wirtschaft und Arbeitswelt dar und werfen die Frage nach der bestmöglichen Ausschöpfung des vorhandenen Arbeitskräftepotenzials auf. Die vorliegende Studie identifiziert das nicht genutzte österreichische Arbeitskräftepotenzial und untersucht Strategien europäischer Länder, die eine verbesserte Erwerbsintegration von insbesondere älteren, gesundheitlich eingeschränkten, weiblichen und zugewanderten Arbeitskräften ermöglichen sollen. Aus den Ergebnissen werden Rückschlüsse für die österreichische Arbeitsmarktpolitik gezogen.
