Mittel- und langfristige Finanzierung der Pflegevorsorge

Abstract

Das gesamte Ausgabenvolumen für die Pflegevorsorge betrug in Österreich 2006 rund 3,3 Mrd. €. Zwischen 1994 und 2006 erhöhte sich der Aufwand für die Langzeitpflege um rund 50%. Gemäß den Berechnungen in drei Szenarien werden die Pflegekosten bis 2030 um 66% (Lower-bound-Szenario) bis 207% (Upper-bound-Szenario) zunehmen. Das mittlere Szenario weist einen Kostenanstieg von rund 160% aus. Gemessen am realen BIP werden die Kosten des Pflegesystems in allen drei Varianten zunehmen.
