Aktive Beschäftigung in Österreich

Abstract

In Österreich steigt seit dem Jahr 2000 die Zahl der Beschäftigten, aber gleichzeitig auch jene der Arbeitslosen. Das lässt sich erklären mit dem Rückgang der Vollzeitarbeitsplätze und der Zunahme des Arbeitskräfteangebotes, besonders an Ausländern. In der Arbeitslosenstatistik sind überdies viele Arbeitslose nicht erfasst, deren Lebensunterhalt von der öffentlichen Hand finanziert wird: Arbeitslose in Schulung, im Krankenstand und mit Pensionsvorschuss.
