Prognose für 2015 und 2016: Steuerentlastung stärkt, Gegenfinanzierung dämpft die Konjunktur

Abstract

Mit einem Wirtschaftswachstum von 0,5% bleibt die Dynamik in Österreich 2015 das vierte Jahr in Folge äußerst schwach. Eine leichte Beschleunigung auf +1,3% ergibt sich 2016 mit dem Anziehen des Binnenhandels in der EU. Die markante Abwertung des Euro wird die Exportentwicklung zusätzlich stützen. Die Steuerreform 2015/16 begünstigt ab 2016 die private Nachfrage, dämpft aber gleichzeitig den öffentlichen Konsum. Für eine Stabilisierung der Arbeitslosenquote ist das Wachstum bis 2016 zu gering.
