Rezession in Österreich hält sich hartnäckig. Prognose für 2024 und 2025

Abstract

Österreichs Wirtschaft verharrt 2024 in der Rezession, das reale BIP sinkt um voraussichtlich 0,6%. 2025 rechnet das WIFO mit einem Konjunkturimpuls aus dem Ausland. Während die Ausrüstungsinvestitionen im gesamten Prognosezeitraum schrumpfen werden, profitieren die Bauinvestitionen im kommenden Jahr vom Baukonjunkturpaket. Die Inflation geht zurück, die Realeinkommen steigen und die Konsumnachfrage wird sich beleben, sodass das BIP 2025 um 1% wachsen wird. Die Arbeitslosigkeit nimmt jedoch weiter zu. Das öffentliche Budgetdefizit entfernt sich zunehmend von den Maastricht-Vorgaben.
