Abstract

The Country Survey for FY2012 in Afghanistan assists the World Bank in gaining a better understanding of how stakeholders in Afghanistan perceive the Bank. It provides the Bank with systematic feedback from stakeholders in Afghanistan about the following: 1) their views regarding the general environment in Afghanistan; 2) their overall attitudes toward the World Bank in Afghanistan; 3) overall impressions of the World Bank’s effectiveness and results, knowledge and research, and communication and information sharing in Afghanistan; and 4) perceptions of the World Bank’s future role in Afghanistan.
