El impacto de la Universidad de Alcalá en la economía local

Abstract

La Universidad, como flujo de ingresos y gastos, tiene efectos positivos en el desarrollo económico local. Estos efectos se pueden clasificar en dos categorías: efectos por el lado de la oferta- relacionados con el capital humano y la investigación - y efectos por el lado de la demanda -elacionados con el gasto y su impacto multiplicador en la economía local. Esta investigación se centra en los efectos por el lado de la demanda de la Universidad de Alcalá (Madrid, España) a partir de la estimación de una versión simplificada del modelo ACE y usando la técnica input-output que considera al sector de hogares para estimar los efectos inducidos. Finalmente, se propone una manera de distribuir territorialmente estos efectos en la Comunidad de Madrid, usando once áreas intrarregionales.Year: 2006
