Abstract

This primer discusses the importance and contribution of agriculture to Brunei’s economy and its performance in the last three decades. It also provides a brief review of past agriculture policies and its current developments and policy thrusts. This publication also focuses on regional and global trading arrangements and their implications on the agriculture sector. A section is devoted to the levels of support for agriculture, and the resources, services, and delivery mechanisms of the country’s agriculture government office.
