Abstract

The third in the series of country primers, this one about Myanmar has been written by no less than the Director General of the Department of Agricultural Planning under the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Mr. Tin Htut Oo. Like previous SAAD Primers, it also tackles policy reforms, investments, and R&D. Its format enables easy comparison of agriculture data among countries, making it a useful situationer for researchers, students, donor agencies and the business community.
