Abstract

Auch in seiner 6. Berufungsperiode setzte sich der RatSWD für die Erweiterung und Verbesserung der Forschungsdateninfrastruktur in Deutschland ein. Der vorliegende Abschlussbericht dokumentiert die Schwerpunkte der Berufungsperiode und gibt einen Überblick zu den peramenten Aufgaben, wie der Beratung von Politik und Gesetzgebung oder (internationalen) Vernetzung. Zu den Schwerpunkten gehörten der Datenzugang zu Big Data, Registerdaten und Gesundheitsdaten, die Weiterentwicklung der Kriminal- und Strafrechtspflegestatistik, Datenerhebung mit neuer Informationstechnologie, Remote Access zu Daten der amtlichen Statistik, Archivierung und Zugang zu qualitativen Daten sowie die aktuelle sozialwissenschaftliche Forschung zur COVID-19-Pandemie.
