Vernetzung sozialwissenschaftlicher Forschung in gesellschaftlichen Krisen - Koordinierungsinitiativen und Empfehlungen zur Datenharmonisierung

Abstract

Die Corona-Pandemie hat gezeigt, dass es innerhalb der empirischen Sozialforschung einer besseren Vernetzung und Koordination von Datenerhebungen bedarf, um auf gesellschaftliche Krisen schneller und besser reagieren zu können. Vor diesem Hintergrund hat der RatSWD eine Arbeitsgruppe gegründet, die sich im Rahmen des vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) geförderten Projekts „Bessere Ergebnisse durch Interoperabilität und standardisiertes Forschungsdatenmanagement: Vernetzung empirischer sozialwissenschaftlicher Forschung in gesellschaftlichen Krisen (Best_FDM)“ mit den angesprochenen Themen auseinandergesetzt hat. Die Handreichung stellt die angestoßenen Initiativen und Empfehlungen des Projekts vor und bietet eine Kommentierung des dort entwickelten Standardfragenkatalogs (RatSWD Output 4b).
