Abstract

Der Rat für Sozial und Wirtschaftswissenschaften (RatSWD) hat seine Handreichung Datenschutz grundlegend überarbeitet und an den neuen europäischen Rechtsrahmen angepasst. Die Handreichung bietet eine knappe Übersicht der datenschutzrechtlichen Grundlagen und ihre Implikationen für die sozial-, verhaltens- und wirtwissenschaftliche Forschungspraxis. Mit der Veröffentlichung verfolgt der RatSWD das Ziel, Datenschutzkompetenzen bei der Planung von Forschungsprojekten und beim Umgang mit sensiblen, personenbezogenen Daten zu stärken.
