Balance de la investigación económica en el Perú

Abstract

Este libro pretende recoger la mejor investigación producida sobre la economía peruana durante los últimos años, realizar una agenda de tópicos, temas y proyectos prioritarios en la materia. El propósito es motivar a la comunicad académica para que oriente sus estudios hacia las áreas donde su contribución pueda ser más significativa. Asimismo, el texto busca ofrecer a los diseñadores de política una guía de los temas de investigación más importantes en los momentos actuales.El consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social (CIES) está conformado por veintisiete instituciones peruanas, con la cooperación de Canadá y otras fuentes. Creado en 1989, su propósito es fortalecer la comunidad académica, para producir y diseminar conocimiento útil para los analistas y agentes de decisión en el sector público, la sociedad civil y la académica. En última instancia, elevando el nivel del debate nacional sobre las opciones clave de política económica y social.
