Abstract

El libro está estructurado en dos partes. La primera presenta cuatro modelos particulares de equilibrio general y luego examina el modelo general. Esta parte se cierra con la incorporación del tiempo y la incertidumbre de manera explícita viendo los casos de equilibrio intertemporal y con activos nancieros. La segunda parte presenta cuatro de las llamadas imperfecciones del mercado, poder de mercado en la forma de monopolio, externalidades, bienes públicos y asimetría de información. En cada caso se muestran algunos modelos, se identica la pérdida de eciencia y se presentan las posibles soluciones para restaurar la eciencia. Classification JEL:
