Abstract

Este texto ha sido diseñado con el objetivo de que sirva como una guía en la aplicación de los procedimientos estadísticos referidos a procesos de inferencia paramétrica y no paramétrica, y de modelos de regresión. Como una parte complementaria al procesamiento de datos se adiciona una explicación del uso de los programas estadísticos Minitab y Excel, y de la manera como dichos programas permiten la generación de reportes que sirven de base para realizar un análisis estadístico. Para lograr un mejor entendimiento de las metodologías descritas es conveniente que los lectores hayan leído antes los conceptos básicos de estadística y de probabilidades descritos en el texto Estadística aplicada Primera parte.
