Abstract

Este libro ofrece una metodología de trabajo y una serie de herramientas relativamente simples para llevar a cabo tres procesos fundamentales en toda evaluación de proyectos sociales. Primero, la adecuada identificación de las principales necesidades que requieren ser atendidas y de las principales alternativas de solución. Segundo, la formulación de estas alternativas incluyendo la estimación de los costos que involucran. Por último, la evaluación de las posibilidades para determinar cuál es la más conveniente desde el punto de vista social –aquella que permitirá satisfacer las necesidades existentes de la mejor manera y con el menor costo económico y social para el país–.
