Efectos de la crisis financiera internacional en la economía peruana 1997-1998: lecciones e implicancias de política económica

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo evaluar los efectos de la crisis rusa sobre la economía peruana, teniendo en cuenta tanto la fortaleza relativa de los fundamentos de la economía al momento de producida la crisis, como las políticas que se aplicaron para enfrentarla. Asimismo, se extraen las lecciones más importantes sobre la política económica. Se pone énfasis en la crisis rusa, por ser ésta la que más afectó al Perú.
