Abstract

The second edition of an annual statistical publication, this volume presents the most up-to-date statistical data and socioeconomic indicators from 29 of the Asian Development Bank's developing member countries. It is divided into three parts. Part I provides a broad perspective on the situation and performance of the Asian and Pacific region in relation to industrialized countries and other developing regions of the world. Part II presents socioeconomic data. Part III presents detailed information for each of the 29 member countries, including for the first time Vietnam and MongoliaDSthe newest members.
