Abstract

The Australian Taxation Study Manual provides suggested solutions to a series of case-study type questions on taxation. Each question deals with a real-life tax problem, allowing readers to test and apply their knowledge of taxation law and gain confidence in preparing for assessment. Covering twelve key areas of taxation law and practice, these practical questions are graded for levels of complexity and cross-referenced to the 2015 editions of Australian Taxation Law and Foundations of Taxation Law. All calculations updated to reflect changes for the 2014/15 tax year to rates and rebates Additional questions without solutions provide a further study resource for self-testing or tutorial exercises A topical index, case table and finding list for legislation and rulings helps readers quickly navigate and access relevant parts of the law
