Abstract

Participation in the world circuit of material and spiritual values of society is an objective necessity. The efficient inclusion in the international division of labor ensures the economic and social progress of each country, as well as the consolidation of a climate of cooperation and peace in the world. From the etymological point of view, the notion of commerce comes from the Latin comercium, which, by juxtaposing the words, expresses the idea of “merchandise operations”. The concept of “international trade” has a double aspect: a restricted or traditional one and a large or modern one. (The author)
