Drept procesual penal. Partea generală - Criminal Procedural Law. The General Part (Romanian Version)

Abstract

Criminal procedural law, through the complexity of its issues, has always been and continues to be attractive to any lawyer. At the same time, I emphasize that the relatively recent entry into force of the new Codes, respectively the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code, through which new institutions of criminal law and criminal procedure were regulated, has brought about many changes in their application. Based on these considerations, I appreciated that at this moment, considering the consolidation of the European and Romanian legislation in the field, it is useful to design a paper to examine the main criminal procedural institutions, with the doctrinal interpretation and presentation of the Romanian and European judicial practice, as well as other issues related to these particularly important but sensitive issues at the same time. The paper aims, in particular, for the new configuration of institutions, on the basis of domestic and international judicial doctrine and practice. The present paper emphasizes the systematization of the matter, but may also be a starting point for further studies of criminal procedural law. (The author)
