Abstract
The main goal of this study, based on a comprehensive and in-depth analysis, is to track and establish trends and opportunities in the use of organizational forms for cooperation between entrepreneurs in furniture production, as well as to provide guidelines and solutions for their implementation and improvement. To achieve the goal, the following tasks are solved: Based on the analysis of various theoretical positions are revealed the characteristic features, functions, and forms of entrepreneurship, as well as the factors that influence its development. The main prerequisites, reasons and motives, benefits, and negatives of joint entrepreneurial activity are examined. The main types of organizational forms of cooperation between entrepreneurs are indicated and characterized and their features are shown. An analysis and evaluation of the application of the organizational forms for cooperation in furniture production has been made. A model for stimulating the use of forms for joint entrepreneurial activity is proposed. Guidelines and recommendations for improving joint entrepreneurial activity in the furniture industry are outlined. The object of research is the furniture enterprises from the Lovech region, belonging to sector C, section 31 "Furniture production". The subject of research is the organizational forms of cooperation between entrepreneurs and the possibilities of their application in the furniture industry. Considering the application of the systematic approach and the relatively limited period for research and analysis of the survey data, the following main contributions and results of the development can be systematized: Author's definitions of the concept’s "entrepreneurship" and "joint forms of cooperation" have been formulated based on an analysis of basic theoretical positions, ideas and opinions. Various views on the main prerequisites, reasons, and motives, as well as the benefits and negatives of joint entrepreneurial activity are summarized, systematized and critically analyzed. A methodological toolkit was developed for conducting an empirical study of joint business forms in furniture enterprises in Bulgaria. A system of indicators for analysis and evaluation of the state of furniture production and joint entrepreneurial activity in the Lovech region has been proposed and practically tested. The positive moments of expanding the application of forms for joint business in furniture enterprises are highlighted. The author's model for stimulating the use of forms for joint entrepreneurial activity in the furniture industry has been adapted and substantiated, and an exemplary scheme for building a specific furniture cluster in the Lovech region has been proposed. Proposals and recommendations have been made to the specific interested parties, aimed at improving entrepreneurship and joint entrepreneurial activity in the furniture industry. This monograph is based on a defended dissertation on 08.06.2018 at the Tsenov Academy of Economics at a meeting of the Scientific Jury.
