Educación y mundo rural. El caso de Boyacá

Abstract

La educación rural es uno de los temas de estudio más descuidados por la investigación nacional. Los informes económicos sobre la sociedad agraria tienden a dejarla de lado y los investigadores educativos la desdeñan por las experiencias urbanas. Tomando el departamento de Boyacá como caso representativo, Educación y mundo rural llena este vacío y llama la atención sobre las relaciones de la escuela con las clases sociales y con la vida de los niños, los maestros y los padres de familia del campo. Allí las escuelas reproducen en pequeño las indigencias del entorno y anuncian las precariedades de los hogares de sus alumnos. “Estudio pionero sobre Boyacá”. H. Gómez Buendía y R.
