Abstract

Colombia es, sin duda, un país en movimiento; históricamente, la migración ha sido un elemento constitutivo de la sociedad y el territorio del país. En este libro se recopilan diferentes experiencias de investigadoras y egresados de la Maestría en Estudios de Población del Área de Demografía, de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Externado de Colombia. El objetivo de este escrito es presentar al lector las múltiples formas como la población colombiana ha migrado dentro y fuera del país, analizando el fenómeno también desde diferentes perspectivas metodológicas. Esperamos que esta lectura sea nutrida y amena para lectores y lectoras de distintas disciplinas, y que encuentren en ella insumos para futuras investigaciones así como para la toma de decisiones sobre asuntos migratorios.
