Introducción a las asociaciones público-privadas en Colombia

Abstract

El libro Introducción a las asociaciones público-privadas en Colombia es precisamente eso, una pieza introductoria que desde una perspectiva eminentemente jurídica analiza el fenómeno de las asociaciones público privadas en Colombia. Este análisis se caracteriza, en primer lugar, porque el análisis jurídico es complementado en algunas ocasiones con análisis prácticos y excepcionalmente económicos que enriquecen el contenido y a la vez hacen más amena la lectura del libro. Los dos autores se valieron, esencialmente para su análisis, del desarrollo que esta institución ha tenido en el derecho y en la práctica británicos. Dos razones llevaron a ello: en primer lugar, el hecho de que la investigación base de este libro se hubiera llevado a cabo durante una estancia en la Universidad de Nottingham, Inglaterra; en segundo lugar, y quizá más importante, sobresale el hecho de que esas asociaciones, como se verá, son en esencia originarias de dicho país.
