La persona ante la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos

Abstract

Luego de la vivencia de los holocaustos y las masacres acaecidas con ocasión de la Primera y Segunda Guerra mundiales se presentó el ambiente ideológico y social propicio que originó las ansias de acabar con el despotismo de la soberanía estatal y sus nefastas consecuencias. De ahí el auge inconmensurable que tomaron los derechos humanos en aquella época como fin último de la sociedad y del ordenamiento jurídico y como fundamento de esa lucha. En el desarrollo de estas ideas estuvo la motivación de los precursores de los diversos sistemas de protección de tales prerrogativas.
