Abstract

El consumidor y la empresa son actores fundamentales para el logro del equilibrio y buen funcionamiento del mercado dentro de una economía globalizada. permeada cada vez más por la tecnología y en constante evolución. Sus relaciones además de interdependientes constituyen hoy el centro de estudio en temas de equilibrio contractual, abuso, información, equidad, riesgos y responsabilidad social. El Departamento de Derecho Comercial de la Universidad Externado de Colombia presenta el libro Consumidor y empresa, obra que abarca temas de actualidad relaciona-dos con el vínculo entre la empresa y el consumidor, mirado desde diversas ópticas del derecho comercial como son el derecho del transporte, el derecho de los seguros, el derecho financiero, el derecho de sociedades, el derecho del consumo, el consumo sostenible, el gobierno corporativo y el arbitraje. Las distintas visiones sobre las relaciones de las empresas y el consumidor deben continuar siendo materia de debate para lograr no solo equidad y transparencia en la mismas sino la promoción efectiva de mercados diversos, competitivos y en continua transformación y crecimiento.
