Abstract

Este guia foi preparado para despertar conscientização no tocante ao Acordo Regional sobre Acesso à Informação, Participação Pública e Acesso à Justiça em Assuntos Ambientais na América Latina e no Caribe (Acordo de Escazú), a fim de proporcionar orientação e informação aos Estados Partes e outras partes interessadas para assegurar o pleno cumprimento das disposições do tratado, servir como documento de apoio para os Estados que estão considerando a possibilidade de tornarem-se Partes e permitir que o público em geral se familiarize com o Acordo.
