Abstract

En 2009 la CEPAL publicó un documento en que se revisan dichos esfuerzos para hacer frente a la crisis económica y financiera internacional. Este documento fue actualizado y complementado en varias ocasiones, a lo cual contribuyó la generosa retroalimentación recibida de los propios países4. Dos años después, la CEPAL presenta en este documento una revisión detallada del destino de dichas medidas, así como de las medidas anunciadas más recientemente para hacer frente a un posible deterioro profundo de la economía mundial en 2012. Esperamos que sea de utilidad para la reflexión sobre las políticas para enfrentar las crisis económicas y, en general, el manejo del ciclo económico. Agradecemos los comentarios y la retroalimentación de los países miembros de la CEPAL, para complementar el documento y corregir posibles errores en una futura nueva versión.
