Abstract

Conclusiones de las reuniones de expertos con el fin de orientar las operaciones censales de 1980, referidas a la medicion de la mortalidad. Con la inclusion de una pregunta acerca de los sobrevivientes de los hijos nacidos vivos, se dispone de informacion que permite estimar la mortalidad al comienzo de la vida (entre 0 y 5 anos); con preguntas acerca de la orfandad materna y de la viudez del primer marido se obtiene informacion para estimar la mortalidad entre los 5 y 30 anos, como tambien despues de los 60.
