Abstract

Este manual se basa en la experiencia del proyecto de gobernabilidad democrática e igualdad de género en América Latina y el Caribe, ejecutado por la Unidad Mujer y Desarrollo de la Cepal y la División para el Adelanto de la Mujer de las Naciones Unidas entre los años 2002 y 2005. Sonia Montaño Virreira, Jefa de la Unidad Mujer y Desarrollo, estuvo a cargo de la elaboración del manual, orientado a facilitar la integración de la perspectiva de género en los procesos democráticos y las instituciones. EL texto se divide en los siguientes módulos: Modulo 1: El buen gobierno desde una perspectiva de género. Módulo 2: Gobernabilidad democrática e igualdad de género. Módulo 3: Lecciones aprendidas.
