Abstract

Este documento ilustra la situación de especial vulnerabilidad que atraviesan las trabajadoras domésticas en América Latina y el Caribe, poniendo en relieve los impactos de la actual crisis provocada por el COVID-19. A su vez, describe las medidas impulsadas por los actores sociales e instituciones en países de la región, y visibiliza cuanto falta aún para garantizar los derechos laborales de las trabajadoras domésticas. Finalmente, se presentan una serie de recomendaciones para el diseño de acciones que mitiguen el impacto de la crisis sanitaria, económica y social para las trabajadoras domésticas en América Latina y el Caribe.
