Abstract

O presente Informe macroeconómico de América Latina y el Caribe é uma nova publicação da CEPAL, formulada para responder à demanda de uma análise atualizada do desempenho macroeconômico da região frente a conjunturas cambiantes. Desta maneira tenta-se complementar o Estudio económico de América Latina y el Caribe e o Balance preliminar de las economías de América Latina y el Caribe, informes que a CEPAL continuará publicando anualmente, junto com informes macroeconómicos periódicos como este. A publicação é parte de um esforço para pôr à disposição das instituições públicas, meios de comunicação, mundo acadêmico, analistas privados e do público em geral um enfoque informativo e analítico integrado, que leve em consideração tanto as dimensões conjunturais como as estruturais do desenvolvimento macroeconômico da região. Este informe está acompanhado de notas de análises das economias, em 2011 e durante osprimeiros meses de 2012, de todos os países da América Latina e do Caribe.
