Abstract

El presente describe 44 proyectos del sector energético, especialmente en las áreas de electricidad, petróleo y gas de la región andina. La subregion, por Ia riqueza de sus recursos naturales, ofrece un enorme potencial de desarrollo energético y Ia demanda en este aspecto está en constante aumento. En todos los palses se hacen esfuerzos importantes para incrementar el suministro de energla, mediante Ia correcta selección de fuentes y el mejoramiento de los niveles de eficiencia. Sin embargo, es necesarlo trabajar con una vision de conjunto para no dispersar esfuerzos. La interconexión energetica permitirá atender de manera mas eficiente las necesidades de un renovado aparato productivo y mejorar Ia calidad de vida de Ia población, en condiciones compatibles con el medlo ambiente
