Abstract

El objetivo básico del estudio es el análisis crItico, a niveles técnicos y operativos, de la viabilidad de crear un mercado único y/o los submercados eléctricos que resulten aptos para potenciar el empleo de los recursos energeticos de la región. Los resultados obtenidos en el contexto de este proyecto permiten afirmar que existen grandes ventajas en la integración eléctrica regional, ofreciendo oportunidades de reducir los costos operativos de los sistemas eléctricos mediante una mayor y más fuerte interconexión entre los sistemas nacionales, partiendo de las condiciones previstas para el abastecimiento en los próximos años y potenciando el empleo de los recursos energeticos de la región
