Proyecto Huella de Ciudades: resultados estratégicos y guía metodológica

Abstract

Uno de los objetivos específicos del Proyecto es incorporar herramientas de planificación y de gestión ambiental mediante la evaluación de la Huella de Carbono y Huella Hídrica, tanto a nivel de ciudad (geográfico) como a nivel de los Gobiernos Municipales (institucional), que permitan la identificación, priorización y desarrollo de acciones que aporten a la adaptación al cambio climático y que contribuyan a su mitigación. El "Proyecto Huella de Ciudades: resultados estratégicos y guía metodológica”, toma como referencia la primera medición de la Huella de Carbono (HC) y la Huella Hídrica (HH) a nivel de Ciudad y de Gobierno Municipal como institución, realizada por el Proyecto en las ciudades de La Paz, Quito y Lima, correspondiente al periodo 2012-2015 y, posteriormente, en las ciudades de Guayaquil, Fortaleza y Santa Cruz de la Sierra (2015-2016). En este documento se presentan los principales resultados del proyecto y una guía metodológica.
