Abstract

En el marco del VII Foro Mundial del Agua, CAF coordinó la preparación de este documento como síntesis de un intenso proceso de consulta entre actores claves del agua del continente americano y representantes de los diversos sectores involucrados en la temática hídrica. Con el fin de diagnosticar la situación actual de los recursos hídricos en la región, en el estudio se identifican las demandas y oportunidades de cooperación internacional para, así, apoyar la promoción del uso sostenible del agua para la producción de alimentos, ayudando a fortalecer la seguridad alimentaria en la región.
