Lineamientos para un código andino de gobierno corporativo

Abstract

El objetivo de esta publicación es poner a consideración de las empresas de la región, operadores de los mercados de capital y responsables de políticas públicas, un conjunto de normas básicas que constituyen las bases para un buen Gobierno Corporativo. Este documento es exhaustivo y aplicable a un espectro muy diverso de empresas; tiene un carácter dinámico y podrá enriquecerse con las sugerencias y recomendaciones que surjan de su puesta en práctica. Está compuesto por 51 medidas concretas, ordenadas de forma sistemática, que definen estándares internacionalmente aceptados de Gobierno Corporativo y que se soportan y explican en el Informe que lo acompaña. Recoge, además, otras recomendaciones de carácter secundario, de tal forma que su implementación material contribuya a una gestión empresarial más transparente, eficiente y honesta, con un buen manejo del riesgo y más competitiva al servir de referencia para buena parte de las inversiones éticas.
