Abstract

Recoge una serie de lineamientos que permitan a futuro definir un marco normativo regional para la protección de conocimientos tradicionales relacionados con la biodiversidad y, en general, con el conjunto de la sabiduría ancestral de los pueblos indígenas. Este libro constituye el primer reporte producido por un grupo de expertos indígenas de los cinco países andinos, donde plantean principios en los cuales podría basarse un régimen de protección y sugieren, además, cuáles podrían ser los conocimientos tradicionales objeto de dicha protección.
