Abstract

CAF ofrece en este documento una propuesta realista de metas sectoriales para el período 2010-2030, sustentada por un estimado de los costos asociados para alcanzarlas, del marco de política pública y de la gobernabilidad necesaria para hacerlas sostenibles con base en la experiencia y buenas prácticas de la región. El 6º Foro Mundial del Agua ofrece a CAF una valiosa oportunidad para participar en el debate regional y global sobre la utilización y conservación de los recursos hídricos y, también, para actualizar información sobre el desempeño, las políticas públicas y las experiencias destacables relativas a la provisión de los servicios vinculados al agua. Es de esperar que estas deliberaciones y los procesos regionales que les den seguimiento sean un aporte eficaz para movilizar las decisiones y promover las transformaciones sectoriales que son necesarias.
