Abstract

Analiza la situación de la competitividad en los países andinos y los temas referentes al mismo como: los clusters, el papel de la tecnología de la información, el rol de la inversión extranjera directa, la dependencia de los recursos naturales y el desarrollo ambiental. La región todavía debe sobrepasar desventajas que se acumularon durante un largo período de negligencia y deberá construir los cimientos requeridos para integrarse a la economía del siglo XXI, que tiene como base el conocimiento.
